Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The main missions of the role are:

 

  • Co-ordinate all activates for the management and deployment of all production (UAP) based TPM systems.
  • Train production personnel to ensure sound working knowledge of TPM at Level 1 and 2 tasks.
  • Collate the summary results from each deployed TPM system.
  • Manage and ensure the availability of all plant consumables and equipment, and critical spares through speedy procurement and standard inventory management.
  • Manage the Level 3 and 4 Preventative Maintenance scheduling.
  • Update SAP MII/ PMM system with job card information to ensure an accurate historical database.
  • Generate management reports detailing results of plant/equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR.
  • Manage and execute all service contracts and maintenance based NPP consumables.
  • Participate continues improvement activities to meet the Key Performance Indicators Targets.
  • Participate in the FES & QSE workshops and implements actions to achieve Equipment Care related FES systems.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts:  propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for all facilities.
  • Liaise, Define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy, security systems and ensure adherence the purchasing policy.

Qualification/s

The minimum qualification/s required for this position is/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Business/Engineering/N6 plus trade related field.

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum 3 - 5 year of working experience within a maintenance/engineering environment.
  • Proven experience in a procurement process with understanding of maintenance needs.
  • Thorough knowledge of injection moulding processes, equipment, technologies, as well as related consumable materials.

  • Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety & Environment skills

  • Strong computer knowledge and skills
  • Great communication skills and continuous improvement mind set
  • Innovation and change management skills
  • Fluent English language knowledge written and spoken.
  • Problem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plans
