We are looking for you as Warehouse Manager for our plant located in Nagykáta, Hungary (50 km / 45min from Budapest).
Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for piece flow from receipt of raw materials until shipping of finished goods guaranteeing a high level of inventory accuracy.
The main missions of the role are:
- Ensure the day-to-day activities related to reception, allocation of parts to storage location, deliveries to production line, withdraw of finished goods from production line, bookings, TPA preparation, shipment and alert management with adequate staffing affectation to ensure the HSE, FES and ICB Standards respect
- Ensure full inventory accuracy through proper analysis in case of deviance and lead the cycle counting operations in all plant locations from plant scope, in relationship with all PC&L functions, in particular ECC and PCL Launch for new programs, including material planners and master schedulers
- Lead full stock on the plant (organisation, preparation, management of counting, investigation and etc.)
- Ensure the proper management of alert system ( ap to standard) and escalation process in the shop floor and in collaboration with other relevant PCL, Plant and corporate functions
- Manage the returnable packaging flows inside the plant ( and collaboration material planners and master schedulers)
- Be leader on Warehouse of PC&L standards (FCP), ICB, HSE, Safety and FES recommendations, lead the eventual convergence plans related to PC&L shop floor activities and train WH staff of these standards
- Lead the improvement of FCS usage for internal flow management (Booking, transfers, storage) and interface with external flow management (Reception, shipment), ensure the readiness of the plant for Digital solutions implementation and Lead these implementations activities
- Ensure internal customer satisfaction: anticipate mid- and long-term evolutions of shop floor activities in term of resources, staffing and skills with customer requirements (PIC), impact of launch of new programs and digital solutions implementations
- Improve logistics performance: surface optimization, labor efficiency, handling utilization, HSE, alert management
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Minimum education level:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics or relevant field
Experience:
- 5+ years work experience in logistics
- Experience in production in an industrial environment
- Experience leading a logistics team and proven ability to implement lean manufacturing principals into daily routine to drive continuous improvement.
Skills & Competencies:
- HUNGARIAN LANGUAGE KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST both oral and written
- Proven ability to manage inventory levels providing appropriate levels of raw material to support production while maximizing inventory turns.
- Autonomus
- Knowledge of quality matters
- International mind set, overseas experience a plus
- Ability to train and coach
- Proficient in MS Office
- SAP knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Intermediate English knowledge both oral and written
