Job Description:
Position Summary
The role of a Process Engineer is responsible for managing the product interface with product development, the process design and implementation, contributing to the Engineering Change Management process, and supporting continuous improvement and production.
Responsibilities
Product Interface:
- Interface with the product engineer (D&D) regarding follow-up of the product conception: from the acquisition phase till SOP (+ 6 month) whenever necessary
- Ensure manufacturing feasibility, participate to product FMEA
Process Design:
- Get support from relevant technology experts or support functions
- Define cycle time in line with takt time and standard operations
- Integrate ergonomics principles in product design
- Issue process flowcharts
- Establish manufacturing routines
- Release manufacturing process documents
- Conduct process FMEA
- Release and update the plant lay-out
- Define investments list and resources needs
Process Implementation:
- Define production equipment specifications
- Follow-up production equipment build
- Ensures equipment delivery and installation in the plant
- Conduct equipment reception process
- Capitalize on lessons learned and provide best practices
Engineering Change Management:
- Follow-up prototypes build
- Update manufacturing routines
Continuous Improvement:
- Carry out process productivity analysis
- Implement improvements action plans
- Manage production equipment performance
Production Support:
- Trouble shooting
- Support the solving problem process.
ME Network:
- Participate to the ME network
- Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
- Support commitments established in the ISO 14001/45001 HSE Integrated Policy.
- Conform to requirements established in Fraser Plant ISO 14001/ 45001 Health Safety and Enviromental(HSE) procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure members in assigned area(s) of responsibility conform to relevant EMS requirements.
- Support HSE programs to achieve objectives and targets.

Position Specifications
Authorities:
- Manage, coordinate, and implement improvements through inhouse or contractors.
- Alter and create documentation to work cell and associated area.
- Ensure the HSE Management System (HSEMS) requirements are established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with the ISO 14001/45001 standards.
Knowledge / Skills:
- Good technical skills on product and process
- Strong communication skills
- International mindset
- Proficient level of English required.
Education / Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the related technical field or a combination of a minimum of 5 years of formal technical education and the related Technical field.
- Trained in Faurecia Excellence System and Program Management System
