Your mission, roles and responsibilities

General Objective of the Position 

Coordinate the daily activities of the production team to ensure the achievement of area objectives through the optimal use of resources. Work jointly with support functions to improve Human Resources, Quality, Safety, and Production indicators.
 

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor production plans and Group standard processes (PDP/PIC).
  • Ensure the feasibility of production plans.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing and presenting the Production Unit budget.
  • Manage actual production costs against target ("ideal") costs, maintain product margins, and supervise serial production (labor, material consumption, etc.).
  • Manage the UAP team by ensuring adequate staffing levels and maintaining a work environment compliant with Group Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Ensure employee development and training through annual training plans and monitoring of training records and job category changes.
  • Participate in career development initiatives for team members.
  • Act as the plant’s official representative to customers, ensuring compliance with customer requirements regarding cycle time, delivery, Quality Basic Standards, volume, and costs.
  • Drive problem-solving activities using KATA and QRCI methodologies.
  • Implement preventive and corrective actions within production processes to ensure customer requirements are met and coordinate with customer quality teams.
  • Implement action plans to improve productivity and efficiency and achieve Group and program objectives.
  • Participate in Production System and Administrative Efficiency projects.
  • Comply with and enforce Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Management 
 
 

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree required:Industrial Engineering, Mechanical-Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Administrative Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
  • Management of industrial processes in the automotive industry.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar position leading multidisciplinary teams.
  •  
Required Knowledge / Skills
  • Welding, Riveting, and Fastening production processes (Advanced).
  • ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards (Advanced).
  • IATF 16949:2016 standard (Advanced).
  • FES System (Faurecia Excellence System) (Advanced).
  • English Advanced level
